Fraternity Park

Short poem about the area around a bunch of fraternities at my university, where broken glass from countless bottles has been ground into the sidewalk. Alternate title “Shards of Glass”.

Fraternity Park

Scattered like a galaxy of shining stars,
Strewn on the sidewalk and streets by the bars,
Tiny specks of glass that sparkle and glitter.
A most enchanting sight and dangerous form of litter.

My name is Amanda Davis. I am an aspiring industrial designer currently studying at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I like to draw, read, write, make jewelry, and act crazy with my friends. I am generally friendly (a bit neurotic during finals) and am open to questions, comments, and constructive critiques.
